Programme for 2010
2010 is the year of expected gradual recovery from the financial crises, which have haunted the world during the last couple of years. With low hopes for rapid and significant advancement of the OECD economies, most of the global growth needed will have to come from Asia, not only in 2010 but years ahead. Luckily, Asia seems to be prepared to take the lead. The notion of “the 21st Century being the Century of Asia” seems to become more and more reality. The Asia Business Forum seminar themes for 2010 have been chosen with this reality in mind. Because of the global implications of the Asian dynamics, issues beyond the Asian region will play an important role in the seminar discussions.
